ChoreFit (“Application,” “App,” or “Service”) is provided by ChoreFit LLC (“Service Provider,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) as a commercial mobile application available for sale on the Apple App Store.

By using ChoreFit, you consent to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

We take your privacy seriously and comply with Apple’s App Store Review Guidelines, App Tracking Transparency (ATT), and applicable data protection laws, including GDPR, CCPA, and COPPA.

This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

2. Information We Collect

a. Automatically Collected Information

When you download, install, or use ChoreFit, we may automatically collect:

· Device information (e.g., model, operating system version)

· IP address

· App usage data (pages visited, session duration, time of use)

· Crash logs and diagnostics (via Firebase Crashlytics and Firebase Analytics)

· Performance data to improve stability and user experience

Note: ChoreFit does not collect precise or continuous location data.

b. User-Provided Information

To enable certain features, you may optionally provide:

· Email address (for account setup, password recovery, or updates)

· User ID (assigned automatically or by you)

· Gender (optional, used for general activity-calorie estimation)

We store this information securely and use it solely for the purposes described below.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information to:

· Operate and improve the App’s functionality and features

· Sync fitness data with Apple Health (if you grant permission); HealthKit data is used only to display and sync your fitness information within the ChoreFit app. It is not stored on our servers or shared with third parties.

· Communicate essential notices, version updates, or service changes

· Provide customer support and respond to inquiries

· Analyze anonymized usage to improve performance

· Send optional promotional content (only with your explicit consent)

4. Third-Party Services

We use trusted third-party analytics and crash-reporting services.

These services may collect limited technical data as described below.

Each provider has its own privacy policy and complies with industry-standard data-protection safeguards.

We do not sell, rent, or trade any personal information.

5. App Tracking Transparency (ATT)

ChoreFit does not track you across third-party apps or websites for advertising purposes.

Suppose tracking capabilities are added in the future (e.g., for personalized ads). In that case, you will be prompted by Apple’s App Tracking Transparency framework to give or deny consent before any tracking occurs.

6. Data Retention and Deletion

Usage data (anonymous analytics and crash logs): retained up to 12 months, then automatically deleted.

User-provided data (e.g., email): retained while your account is active and for up to 90 days after account deletion to support potential restoration requests.

You may request permanent deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting [email protected]. We will respond within 30 days. Uninstalling the App will stop all future data collection.

7. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We may disclose limited data:

· As required by Law (e.g., court order or legal process)

· To protect rights and safety (e.g., prevent fraud or security threats)

· To trusted service providers (e.g., Firebase) solely for performing services on our behalf under strict confidentiality agreements

We do not share user-identifiable data with any advertising networks.

ChoreFit does not share or sell personal information to third parties for advertising or marketing purposes

8. Children’s Privacy

ChoreFit is not directed toward children under 13.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13 years of age.

9. Security

We employ administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your data against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.

These include secure server storage, encrypted transmission, and access controls.

However, no method of electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

By downloading, installing, or using ChoreFit, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

If you disagree, please refrain from using the App.

2. License and Restrictions

We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use ChoreFit for personal, non-commercial purposes.

You may not:

· Copy, modify, or redistribute the App

· Reverse-engineer or attempt to extract source code

· Use our trademarks or content without permission

· Circumvent security features or jailbreak/root your device

All intellectual-property rights remain with ChoreFit.

3. Use of the Service

You must be at least 13 years old to use ChoreFit.

You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes and not in any way that could harm the App or other users.

An active internet connection (Wi-Fi or mobile data) may be required.

You are responsible for any data charges incurred through use of the App.

Keep your device charged; we are not liable if you are unable to use the App due to battery failure.

4. Third-Party Services

ChoreFit integrates with third-party services, including Firebase and Apple Health.

To the maximum extent permitted by Law, ChoreFit LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from use of the App, including loss of data or profits.

8. Termination

We may terminate your license and access to the App at any time without notice if you violate these Terms.

Upon termination, you must cease use and delete the App from your device.

9. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms from time to time.

The latest version will be posted within the App and on our website.

Continued use after any change constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

10. Governing Law

The laws of the United States and the State of Rhode Island govern these Terms.

Any disputes shall be resolved in courts located in Rhode Island.
